Kottayam Social Service Society
Gifts for ‘differently-abled’ people in India
Kottayam Social Service Society (KSSS) is a non-profit secular organization set by the Catholic archdiocese of Kottayam, Kerala, India, in 1964 to initiate development and welfare activities. KSSS works for people of any caste or creed to promote humanitarian and development programmes for the uplift of the poor and marginal groups.
Within its wide-ranging scope, KSSS trains ‘differently-abled’ people to live independently and to work according to their abilities so that they become contributing members both in the family and in the community. This year’s gifts will make an enormous contribution towards that training.
Equipment such as digital hearing aids, the floor sitter corner chair, or walking aids such as the cerebral palsy walker, can help ‘differently-abled’ people to live and work independently.
